Fall Is Finally Here

Yesterday, Misty and I went for a drive to Connecticut to one of our favorite spots, Enders Falls. Enders is a series of falls, just off the parking lot in J. O. Enders State forest in Granby, CT. We found this spot earlier this year in our never ending search for new falls to shoot.

This is our third trip to Enders Falls this year. We had some extra time to kill yesterday and thought we would be able to see some great colors around the falls. We were right! The falls had plenty of water going over them and with some strategic climbing and scaling, I was able to get to some better spots to shoot from.

The photos in this post are mostly from my iPhone XS Max. All of them will have a little tweaking via the Snapseed app. For the long exposure shots, we use an app called Slow Shutter. It’s a great app, but you need to have a tripod to avoid blurry pics from hand shake.
